RiaDante Group Inc. operates this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the site, how we store it, why we use it, and what rights you have under the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Barbados.

1. Who we are

19 Sunrise Drive, Pine Gardens, St Michael, Barbados
Office: (246) 426-9845
Office: (246) 429-9145
Email: services.riadante@gmail.com

We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

2. What we collect

When you submit a service request through this website, we collect:

  • the client or company name, the contact phone number, and the contact email address if you provide one
  • the name of the person authorising the service, and the authentication code entered
  • the service you are requesting, the priority selected, any deadline given, and the description you write
  • the collection address, the name and phone number of the contact at collection, and the preferred collection time
  • the delivery address, the name and phone number of the contact at delivery, and any delivery instructions

We also record the time your request was submitted, and we run simple automated checks to block spam and duplicate submissions.

We do not ask for payment card details on this website, and we do not collect them.

3. Information about other people

Service requests often include the name, phone number and address of someone other than the person filling in the form, such as a contact at the collection or delivery point. If you provide someone else's details, please make sure you are entitled to do so and that they know their details are being given to us for the purpose of completing the job.

4. How your request is stored and sent

When you submit the form, your request is saved in a secure database operated by our website and database providers on our behalf. A copy is also sent to our staff by email through a form delivery service so that we can act on it promptly. Both providers process this information on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

5. Why we use your information

We use it to accept, schedule and complete the service you request, to contact you and the people at the collection and delivery points about that job, to verify that a request is authorised, to prevent abuse of the form, and to keep proper business, billing and accounting records. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it to anyone.

6. Information collected automatically

Our website host records standard technical information such as your device type, browser, and approximate location. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

We do not run advertising or profiling trackers on this site.

7. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the providers that help us operate this website, our database and our email notifications, and with the couriers and staff who carry out your job. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

8. How long we keep it

We keep service request records for as long as we need them to complete the job, to deal with any query or claim about it, and to meet our record keeping, billing and tax obligations. After that they are deleted.

9. Keeping it secure

Access to stored requests is limited to authorised staff. Our database is protected by access controls provided by our database provider, and information sent between your device and this website is encrypted in transit. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.

10. Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you may ask us to:

  • confirm what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
  • correct information that is wrong or no longer accurate
  • delete information we no longer need
  • stop using your information for a particular purpose
  • provide your information in a portable format

To make a request, contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond as quickly as we reasonably can. We may need to confirm your identity first.

11. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Barbados.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date shown at the top.
